What happened to inventory of classified documents? When one changes location there is a removal from inventory at it's source and the destination officially accepts it and adds it to the list. If they were sent to the VP's residence at the Naval Observatory it should be on the inventory list. Then some security person should be actually looking at the cover and checking it against the list regularly. If it wandered off then there is an investigation.
It's not run like a little library kiosk in your front yard.

There’s at least one printer in every office. Classified documents are promulgated via email and people can print their own copies.
