Absolutely, once the gas stoves go, then you will have to also get rid of your gas hot water heater, gas dryers, gas BBQ grills, gas fireplaces, etc...4
Our house is primarily gas, we have a gas stove/range, hot water heater, gas BBQ qrill, gas dryer, gas fireplace, if we had to replace all of them it would be cost prohibitive, not to mention the resale value would plummet, who would buy a house knowing all the appliances that would need to be replaced ?
About 5 years ago we were considering a move to the next county over.
In looking at a couple of model homes in a planned development the sales associate mentioned the stoves in both models were gas......my wife asked if they could be changed out to electric.....the sales associate stated the county building code required gas stoves......I imagine that’s the case in a lot of places.
The whole thing is insane.
