Someone should remind Rice that Al Qaeda got its start via US intervention.
It probably wasn’t “our fight” in 1914, and Wilson did a lot of scurvy things. “He kept Us Out of War” was his re-election slogan. There arguably wouldn’t have been a 1941 (or a 2001). We’re still paying dearly over a 100 years later.
She said something during a live television interview once that was interesting.
“Nobody ever thought people would fly airliners into buildings, who could have seen that coming?”
Now that is just pure BS, she can’t possibly be that stupid. I knew .mil people who worked in the area prior to 2001 and that was one their absolute security concerns, that somebody would hijack an airliner and fly it into the Capitol or whatever. This was probably an open secret.
Why would she say something like that?
