I disagree on the “no one else”. I have voted absentee once, and early once. Both times because I had abusiness trip that couldn’t be scheduled otherwise. I had plenty of notice, requested my absentee ballow, and remitted it about two weeks ahead of the election.
By request - with a valid reason - should be allowed. No mass mail-in voting should be allowed.
Oh, I get that. I think mail-in ballots should be very very limited, not like what we have now.
My husband was in hospice care in early Nov. 2020 and in no way could make it to a polling venue. He filled out his mail-in ballot and wanted to make sure his vote for Trump was “counted.” He died a few days later.
