Russian officials offered support for Lula, who now presides over the country that like Russia is a member of the club of BRICS emerging economies:

— Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the upper-house Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee:

“I was in Brazil when Lula was inaugurated and saw everything with my own eyes: there were no signs of disturbances at all. What happened now is difficult to explain and, from my point of view, non-systemic.”

This is one guy in the Duma, in the Moscow times is an anti-Putin newspaper. It probably remains to be seen if this is the policy of the Russian government, or if he is speaking for his self. At best, it’s a little disingenuous to say I was in Brazil and I thought that the election was OK. I can’t imagine anybody, from any side, from another country visiting Brazil and thinking they understand if an election was good or bad.

“‘Putsch Into Nowhere’: Russian Officials Slam Brazil Riots, Back Lula”

No different than the position of the Ukraine War supporters, starting with Biden. The LAST PERSON they wanted was Bolsonaro, as he was associated with Trump.

Russia has perfect relations with both Lula and Bolsonaro, but I understand why Lula is preferable for them and have no idea why anyone is fuming about it.

From what I hear the CIA was responsible for organizing the anti-Lula protests. Lula is all for being a part of BRICS, and our deep state doesn’t like that.

You say: Funny, The Biden admin helped engineer Lula’s election.
On occasion the Communists do hold hands with the Fascists, viz., The Molotov-Von Ribbentrop agreement.

Lula, Putin talk on ‘strategic’ Brazil-Russia relations
https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/brazils-lula-talks-putin-says-he-seeks-dialogue-with-everyone-2022-12-20/

SAO PAULO, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Brazilian President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin had congratulated him on his recent election win and talked of stronger relations between the two countries.

Putin said earlier this year he had “good relations” with both Lula and far-right incumbent Jair Bolsonaro, who made an official trip to Moscow in February, just days before the start of the war in Ukraine.

...

“Putin congratulated me on my election victory and wished me a good administration and the strengthening of relations between our countries,” the leftist leader tweeted.

...

Brazil and Russia are both members of the BRICS group of emerging economies that also includes China, India and South Africa.

In a separate statement, the Kremlin said both men had expressed confidence that the countries’ “strategic partnership...will develop successfully, including within the BRICS framework”.

Nope.

The Headline was a Falsehood by design.

Only the Moscow Times and one of three Russian Officials support Communism.

The MSN/Moscow Times sourced article is a Disinformation Propaganda piece constructed to mislead the reader into the belief that the Putin led Russian Government endorsed Communism and supported the Lula Communist Government, while opposing Bolsonaro and his supporters.

In fact, the Putin led Russian Government is neutral on Brazil's Election, President, Government choice, and is friends with and supports Lula, Bolsonaro and Brazil.
