I don’t disagree at all.
Worst street in every city in America?…
Interesting all the media Reports say it was a family-friendly event. What message are they trying to convey? Sounds to me like even a so-called family friendly event is dangerous.
Did MLK ever explain why 13% of the population commit over 50% of the violent crime?
Nothing says peace and love like MLK day. Guess someone couldn’t read the memo.
Gun fire, screaming “ma babies, ma babies” and idiots laughing. The usual BS. If there’s an MLK Blvd, Rd, St etc anywhere in the country that doesn’t have the highest crime in that city, I’d love to know where that is.
The article said this event happened in Fort Pierce.
IIRC from reading previous FR posts, Fort Pierce is quite the pit. Is this true?
"Mostly family friendly", apparently....................
As Chris Rock once said:
New in town?... Need to score some drugs?.... Just ask directions to MLK Boulevard...................
“shot during a family-friendly MLK day event in Florida “
I have nothing to add.
Funny how gunfire just, "Breaks out".
We’re discussing a culture that has demonstrated in the past that they are willing to gun each other down at wedding and funerals......keeping that in mind, that it happened yesterday is of no surprise to me.
What is a surprise to me is that didn’t happen in my town.........AGAIN.
I really expected to turn on the news this morning and hear that it had.....but thankfully no.
Deey’s jus bees celebratin
Lots of evidence that these MLK events are anything but family friendly and often end in gunfire.
Same as driving down any given MLK blvd. Seeing that name, as Chris Rock has said means RUN:
Martin Luther King stood for nonviolence,” says comedian Chris Rock. 'Now what’s Martin Luther King? A street. And I don’t give a f*** where you are in America, if you on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there’s some violence going down.Later, Rock gives advice to anyone who finds themselves lost on an MLK-named street: 'Run! Run! Run!'
Can I guess or do I have to look?
I read the rest of the article. No perp description at all.
“A man’s gonna shoot up the street when a man wants to shoot up the street. Ain’t nobody gonna tell a man when to shoot up the street or not to shoot up the street.” - Hank ‘Smitty’ Smith.
Surprise, surprise, surprise...
Family-friendly.
They’sseee be just keepin’ it all in the family, bro....nice and friendly like.
