The electrical grid can barely hold up demand now - and I know of no plans to upgrade the system. I wonder why I keep getting alerts from my city during the frequent heat waves we have to NOT plug in EVs - sometimes several alerts a day.

Wind and solar powered electricity is wonderful. It was 58 deg for 3 days at the hospital I work in whe it was in the high teens here in south texas a few weeks ago. I’ve been out sick a week.
Yet tge freeze us in air conditioning. The whole city over summer 70 degrees. You need a jacket
