Tell the idiot that fewer than 20 states have enough sunny days to make solar power feasible even if the panels were free.
Big Sun also doesn’t get it done when it goes below the horizon.
Moreover it is not possible or practical to match enough battery capacity up with unsightly acres of solar panels to try to make up for that blackout period. Which of course happens daily and is none too short.
These people are just plain NUTS!

A NASA Mars mission was hobbled and ended early due to dust collecting on the deployed solar panels, almost immediately reducing solar power production capacity down to 15% of nominal/expected.
They actually intentionally remotely dumped scoops of Mars dirt on the panels in an attempt to shake off dust and it actually bumped up power output to 25% of nominal. They had no other options.
Does this guy study any climate history. This world has gone up and down on CO2 gasses and others for hundreds of millions of years and we are still here. This is nothing new. What an idiot.
