Agree. He’d be good, and it would be an easy win to get past 50 seats. Some here want to nominate some wacko who will loose a slam dunk race. How ofter have we seen this - just look at NH, PA and AZ last election - All races we should have won, and now we have a dem majority.

If I were Mitch Daniels, I would disavow his endorsement. It is the kiss of death.

You act like our votes actually matter anymore. The democrats would have won in AZ even if Jesus Christ was running. Don’t blame the candidates, blame the rigged system.
If he runs, I will judge him on his merits, along with the other candidates. He was governor before I moved to Indiana from next door, but I have a good impression of the job he did. I Think he did some good things at Purdue. And I’ll thank Ramblin’ Romney not to stick his nose into the affairs of Indiana.
I did my homework before posting. I remembered positive conservative issues that Daniels did as Governor. Then I looked up his history...very impressive.

Mittins will get his. The Philippine Atty. general will take him on. Mitch is ok. He’d win. He may be a rino but he’s no backstabber.
His policies as governor seemed very conservative...lots of reducing budgets, etc. Also seems to have excelled at all the many positions he has serviced in. Maybe not OUR/Freeper perfect ...but, about as good as a person can get.
If he was that wonderful Pierre the traitor wouldn’t endorse him

Nothing wrong with Daniels except his age. He’ll be 74 in April. Need some younger blood that can hold that seat for several terms.

Daniels would have made a good POTUS. Problem is the election system. Too many voters go for the flash and a good solid stable candidate usb look dull. It opens up the competition whenever something unexpected comes up. When government does it’s job no one notices. Good news gets surpassed by the MSM.
