Take it as a sign of the progress our country has made. In thinking about the Super Bowl, it's likely that relatively few people are focused on the fact that, for the first time, it will feature two black starting quarterbacks: Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Patrick Mahomes (whose mother is white) of the Kansas City Chiefs.
But count CNN's Don Lemon as someone who has made the race of the QBs his Super Bowl obsession. After some chit-chat at the top of the show, here's how Lemon formally introduced today's episode:
"Good morning, everyone. For the first time in Super Bowl history, two black quarterbacks will lead their teams in the Big Game."
Lemon repeatedly mentioned that factoid during the opening segment. To his credit, CNN sports reporter Coy Wire eschewed Lemon's racial obsession, focusing instead on the quarterbacks' leadership, toughness, and selfless we-not-me attitude.

It just goes to show you how shallow the lefties really are, judging by appearances and not character.
It should be a good game for many reasons. But the one thing Don Lemon obsessed about is the color of the quarterbacks.

Don’t we all long for the days when we just judged everyone by the color of their skin and didn’t give a hoot about the content of their character? What fool came along and messed that up, anyway??

Ratings should not be a problem. The two Number 1 seeds are playing for the title.
If Don Lemon is obsessed with anything about the two quarterbacks, it is the size of their organ.
I remember when they obsessed over two black head coaches in 2007, when Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith coached.
Of course, now Dungy is ‘persona non grata’ to the Left, for his conservative views.
I would pay money to see this limp-wristed fool attempt to quarterback an NFL game.
We can’t discuss “Will Weapons For Ukraine Lead To Nuclear War?” so we have to substitute this dreck.
It's what they do. Basically why I eschew watching all sports news programs or any pre-game stuff, and just watch the game. And for the last few SBs, I don't even tune in until the 4th quarter, if the game is close.
Of course he would love to be a quarterback, since every play starts with a quarterback’s hands on another man’s butt.
The referee was black in the KC game. and was named MVP!

I’m clueless. I didn’t even know Mahomes was black. I thought he was Samoan or something like Junior Seau.
