The ENTIRE multi-trillion “COVID Relief” was a scam driven by the totally needless shutdown of the economy. They should investigate why the pandemic happened and why the hysterical government reaction resulted in trillions being given away for no good reason, igniting very high inflation. Our citizens (and especially retirees and pensioners) are absolutely hit hardest when government causes inflation.
That is the underlying issue, not how some people gamed the system to steal some of the give-away money.
Leave it to Congress to ignore the real issue and focus on some trivial tangential issue.

billions and billions to UKR, covid, etc - and they continue to ignore the basics like repairing medicare and social security, lol...
what would 100 billion have done to repair those programs??
