Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is suing the makers of so-called forever chemicals that have contaminated multiple sources of drinking water, saying the companies hid threats to public health and the environment.
Raoul is suing 3M and several other large chemical companies that have in their past had some role in making a class of chemicals used in non-stick pans, clothing, furniture, water and stain repellents, food packaging and thousands of other products.
Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS, are tied to some types of cancer, liver damage and other health conditions. Minnesota-based 3M has promised to stop making PFAS products by the end of 2025....

Pfizer, Moderna, and all the Big Media that covered / are covering for them, come to mind.

I wouldn’t say it’s a moot point. If they knew the chemicals were harmful to humans and covered it up… they have culpability

I cannot taste any PTFE like I could with another pan I tried.
I have stainless steel pans because I can taste the difference except for the new Hexclad. The food cooks evenly and does not stick at all to the pan. PTFE has been on pans for many decades. If it were a health problem we would know about it. It is to me a taste problem.

A: Our pans are PFOA free but contain some PTFE. PTFE is in over 95% of all nonstick cookware including our ceramic-based nonstick.

Corning Glass made a line of products called “VISIONS” years ago.
Their glass frying pans did not stick.
