The Ohio Department of Education is investigating an online homeschool network that aims to indoctrinate children as Nazis — but insiders say the state has little power to change the white supremacist curriculum.
The Dissident Homeschool community — a Telegram channel — was founded in October 2021 by Katja and Logan Lawrence, a married couple with four children based in Upper Sandusky, according to a report published last month by the anti-fascist research group Anonymous Comrades Collective.
In a conversation last year on the neo-Nazi podcast “Achtung! Amerikaner,” Katja — who goes by “Mrs. Saxon” on the channel — told host Gordon Kahl that she started Dissident Homeschool because she “was having a rough time finding Nazi-approved school material for [her elementary-age] homeschool children.”
Dissident Homeschool is now the focus of a “compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements” review, a state official familiar with the investigation told CNN this week.
But despite the channel’s objectionable material, the state insider told the network that Ohio officials are limited in their ability to overhaul the curriculum.
Under Ohio law, the outlet said, the Department of Education does not review or approve homeschool content.

This seems like a concerted effort to regulate homeschoolers via guilt-by-association with this ridiculous "homeschooling" group.
Assuming the Telegram numbers aren't bots, there are 2,500 dopes...out of about 3 million homeschoolers nationwide. Every movement has a modest quantum of freaks.
Be prepared for the propaganda storm.
Non-representative ping
Shrug.
The government schools are teaching negro racism.
The government schools are mutilating children.
The government schools are promoting sodomy.
I’m not too worried about a bunch of alleged “Nazis”.
Oh. Right. Like I believe anything and everything the Enemedia throws my way.
Are they Ukrainian refugees living in Ohio?

“Anonymous Comrades Collective”... now there’s clearly a source of unbiased information. /sarc
Well let’s see. Nazis killed Jews. Nazis killed Brits. Nazis killed Poles. Nazis killed Slavs. Nazis killed gypsies. Nazis killed Dutch. Nazis killed Russians. Nazis killed Belgians. Nazis killed AMERICANS.
So we are to think parents teach American kids to love the people who killed Americans? Does that make any sense?
p
Is this Ukrainian parents?
Pinging this out for your consideration. Take the claim in the article for what it’s worth. Just be aware of what is happening out there.
Considering the left and democrats, I have to wonder just how much of this is misrepresentation of the facts.
I would expect that anything that doesn’t embrace CRT would be considered and labeled by default as “neo-Nazi”.
Or it’s a false flag by the FBI, posing as homeschoolers for the sake of entrapment.
Either way, I am suspicious of this claim.
When I can get to my main computer in m my unheated porch, tomorrow, I will ping out the main homeschool ping list.
Whether they're actually homeschoolers is a different story. Parenthetically, the Nazis didn't like homeschooling.
What's telling, is the "coincidental" concurrent reporting on this story.
I have no idea if the group is legit or a fake group. But associating them with the homeschooling movement is like associating the Westboro Baptist Church with Christianity.
It wouldn’t surprised me if the left was calling them neo-Nazis for supporting things such as discipline, perseverance, frugality, etc.

Post of the thread.
I am far more concerned with BLM, Antifa and socialist Democrats than Nazis, although I have no use for any of them.
Of all threats to the Republic, the DemocRAT Party is many orders of magnitude worse than a handful of supposed “Nazis”.
Well Marxism is being taught in schools and that is many magnitudes worse
