They could easily come up with a middle way. Just create a new class of collegiate athletics: Tranny sports, where trannies compete against other trannies. They can have their own locker rooms, scholarships, and events. Then they can have males wanting to be females in one class, females wanting to be males in another, and those that have already been mutilated in a third. Or fourth. What if they want to be both, though? Not my problem, but I’m just morbidly curious, as I would be of any other train wreck.
How about we let the states deal with it and get down to the budget and cutting spending?
It’ll take federal intervention to get the federal government to stop intervening.
These are seriously mentally ill people who need real professional help and not encouragement nor acceptance of their illness as normal.
No amount of tolerance or bending over backwards to promote their illness is going to change the truth.

Do I care what they call themselves? If they want to chop it off and do athletics, let them do it together with other eunuchs over there on the side, and leave the women alone. Otherwise, they can become whores and drag queens for all I care, so long as they stay the f@## away from the natural born women, and leave them be.
