Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday brushed aside former President Donald Trump‘s attempts to cast him as a “groomer” of young women, saying he is not interested in spending his time chopping down fellow Republicans.
The governor has been on the receiving end of recent Trump attacks, including the former president reposting a picture this week on social media accusing Mr. DeSantis of drinking alcohol with students when he was a teacher. The post labeled him a groomer.
“I’d also just say this,” Mr. DeSantis said at a press conference Wednesday. “I spend my time delivering results for the people of Florida and fighting against Joe Biden. That’s how I spend my time. I don’t spend my time trying to smear other Republicans.”

Trump attacking DeSantis is not a good move for him.

It’s hard to remember the last time the White House had class.
So anybody who won’t support Trump is the enemy? Is that the criteria for deep state identification?
We know from the past that Trump doesn’t start things, but he does hit back hard. I’m wondering what DeSantis has done to him.
If Trump focused on policy and waited until there were declared candidates, it would be understandable.
Instead, Trump attacking a solid conservative makes Trump look small and undesirable

DeSantis does not “claim” to be conservative, he has implemented conservative policy more than Trump or any other former Florida governor.

Every bit as classy as turning around and stabbing a friend in the back after he’s helped you get where you are. DeSantis is a weasel opportunist. A class act would have backed Trump and waited until 2028.
Why is Desantis not going after Dominion election machines??
