Problem is Trump doesn’t know how to use the levers of gov’t or pick the right people to get it done. But he is one hell of a great campaigner.

And Biden’s been in DC for 50 years.
Trump was set up by his own party and the bureaucracies in DC - who made suggestions based on who would for them them - not who would help the country.
That was a surprise - and for all of us here too.
It never occurred to me and to most freepers that groups like the FBI would work against a sitting President. Did YOU see that while it was starting and happening? I doubt it.
Trump knows the lay of the land ... he’s got their numbers now... and even back then Trump chose better people than Biden has.
Trump's 2016 campaign was the most entertaining political spectacle I've ever seen. And that it culminated with Donald Trump denying the White House to Hillary Clinton was THE greatest night I've ever witnessed in elective politics.
I can replay those videos over and over again of liberals wailing and gnashing their teeth, of newscasters and political pundits crying. I didn't sleep at all that night. It was a time of joy and celebration!
And then, It kinda all went downhill after that.
First, Trump fires the MAGA people who helped his victory and brings Javanka and the Swamp Creatures into his administration.
There was that absolutely pointless Russiagate fiasco, Mueller, and Trump's TOTALLY USELESS Attorney General who would do nothing to stop it.
I keep waiting for Trump to take off the gloves and BEAT THE SH*T OUTTA THESE PEOPLE and I was infuriated that he never would!
Instead, he absorbed every punch and became weaker and weaker. Why would the guy whose personal catch phrase was "You're Fired!" fire nobody? He surrounded himself with Deep State stooges who never wanted him to win and they undermined him every step of the way.
Then he loses the House, watches as Dr. Fauci, who he empowered, allows Covid to destroy his economy. Independent and swing voters abandon him, the Georgia runoffs cost him the Senate, and finally the whole embarrassing spectacle of J6.
I truly believe that many of Trump's biggest supporters are sincerely hoping that the energetic, heady momentum of 2016 repeats itself because it was such a great time! But that lightning in a bottle only happens once. Those days are gone. 2024 Trump is not 2016 Trump.
It's time to move on.
