On Thursday, Republican representative Matt Gaetz is introducing a resolution that will call on the Biden White House to end military and financial aid to Ukraine.
The resolution will also urge all nations involved with the ongoing war to search for a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.

Its a nice gesture, but a “Peace Deal” is no longer in the control of Matt Gaetz, Congress, Biden or anyone in DC
Gaetz was on Timcast IRL Wednesday night. He said he was going to do this on Tim’s show.
Timcast IRL is a great show. I do not always agree with them, but they have a diverse discussion and great guests.
Gaetz is a friend of the show and it is fun to see these libertarians and left-of-center crowd come more and more to our side.
Finally someone cares about peace.
Some republicans are acting like the democrats near the end of the Vietnam war. Nothing like cutting off aid to someone who is fighting for their freedom to end a war.
Biden and NATO instigated this war that could have been avoided with negotiations.
Biden and NATO have refused any peace discussions while increasing the tensions (like blowing up Nordstream 1 & 2)
US taxpayers have sent well over $100 billion to Ukraine for a border war that is not our problem.....and so Biden, Democrats and many Republicans can benefit from the military spending.
I am proud that some are standing up to say “no more” until you seek peace
No, I don’t care if half of Ukraine has to be given to Putin as a result.

I agree, I don’t care about Ukraine or Russia, I only care about the USA staying out of a ground war with Russia over Ukraine.
Russia’s military is not the juggernaut most people thought, they have a lot more people and equipment to throw into the fight and appear willing to do it,
IMO, Ukraine can’t win a conventional ground war against Russia no matter how much equipment the USA gives them. The only way Russia is defeated in Ukraine in a conventional war is for the USA and other willing NATO countries actually fight themselves. The only hope the country has on it’s own is a negotiated settlement to this part of the war and then engage in a prolonged guerilla war and hope to kill Russia from a thousand cuts, much like the Russians suffered in Afghanistan.
