There are other countries on planet earth and some have a desire to help Syria. Some of them were reluctant to provide aid out of fear of being inexplicably punished by the World Police.
I have no idea what premise is being used by the US govt. to justify illegal occupation of Syria. Whatever it is, it’s not universally popular.
And they wonder why we are hated around the world. People out there in the rubble freezing starving and dying, and 6 days later DC pulls it’s head out of it’s ass and decides that the overthrow Assad project can be on temporary hold.
We have sanctions against Syria because we support the ISIS rebel side and are trying to break off a part of the country.
Meanwhile every inch of the ukraine is sacred and must not be broken away by force.
The World Police Department has a very serious image problem stemming from it’s pattern of dishonest, destructive behavior.
The days of behaving this way are numbered.
