Article incorrectly implies that guns bought from a dealer online or at a gun show are exempt from the NICS background check or ATF 4473 form. This is completely untrue.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is reintroducing legislation to require background checks on all commercial gun purchases
...
If the measure became law, prospective gun buyers would need to undergo a background check for the sale or transfer of guns, including online sales, purchases at gun shows and through unlicensed sellers, according to the bill.
Lauren must be a journalism school graduate. Unlicensed sellers, by definition, are not part of a commercial gun purchase. Also, most purchases at a gun show do require NICS, as almost every booth vender is an FFL. The only ones that don't are the random guys walking around, and I usually don't see too many of them.

So, blacks will need a photo ID to buy a gun?
