Critics of CNN anchor Don Lemon called for the network to fire him after his controversial comments demeaning 2024 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley.
Amidst the furor over Lemon’s statements this week about Haley not being in her "prime" while running for president, Twitter users claimed that this might be the time to finally axe the "CNN This Morning" host.

I'm no fan of Nikki but that “past her prime” rant was so outrageous and retarded.I think exactly the same way, Nikki has some amends to make, but she gets respectful and courteous treatment from me while I'm still candid.
I hope to run into Lemon some day.

I think the point being made is that cancel culture does not only go after cable talking heads and that men are harassed and persecuted for just being men everywhere. Free speech means that you have to be allowed to piss off other people. The alternative is the sick, sad reality that we live with now.
