If they want to cultivate mistrust, they are doing a great job.

He’s being proven right. Blacks and whites have never gotten along at a societal level, nor will they ever (for a fairly obvious reason that no one wants to touch).
I’d go beyond segregation to separation. It’s the only real solution to this putrid dysfunctional marriage.
