I think this is a great idea as long as the equity goes all ways and not just a selected group or groups. It’s the same theory as discrimination. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. There is only discrimination coming from the opposite direction. The committee should be open to that if it is a true equity function. Can’t go part way and be an honest and forthright committee without a complete evaluation of all races since that is what they are claiming it is for.

Remember the Maui to San Francisco flight about a week ago, the flight that nearly crashed into the Pacific Ocean?

The pilot and co-pilot became dis-oriented and came within 800 feet of crashing into the ocean. The flight was like a roller coaster ride until the so-called pilots regained control.

The pilot was a recent hire; so was the co-pilot. Was this a case of racial equity?

The CEO of United is woke and recently hired a flight attendant to go through pilot training.

Notice all the near collisions on runways recently? Expect that to happen repeatedly, as well as mid-air collisions as
“equity” is applied to air traffic controllers.
