Former Biden Department of Energy official Sam Brinton claimed to have been beaten by their father, who allegedly also held a gun to their head and forced them into conversion therapy.
However, their family has spoken out, denying the accusations and using police records to show that no abuse ever occurred. "I’m in this constant state of fear," Brinton previously claimed. "My dad has held a gun up to my head multiple times."
Brinton claimed they were continuously punched and sent to the emergency room at least seven times after coming out to their family when they were just 11-years-old. They also mentioned how they had been electrocuted and tortured with needles growing up.
The former Biden official's younger sister, Rachel Brinton, told The Post their parents were Southern Baptists but never exhibited any violence towards Sam or any of their three children.
"There’s no validity to those claims," Rachel explained. “First of all, the claims of conversion therapy never happened, nor did my parents abuse my brother or I."

Woof!
The serial liar lied? Gee, I am shocked.
Sounds like they are a nut, eh?
The article uses plural pronouns for him. Like he’s got the plurality of majesty.
Nobody forced that penis up his butt.
There seems to be a higher incidence of mental illness among the transgenders compared to the general population.
He...She.... It is a SOUTHERN BAPTIST??? omg.
Fair enough, in this case. I read about 'them' in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 5. 'They' go by the name Legion. They are many, so the plural pronoun is fair.
Lemme guess. They/them?
I detest writing like this. Don’t allow the wokies to change the way you write/talk.
His real name is “Legion.”
“Former Biden Department of Energy official Sam Brinton claimed to have been beaten by their father, who allegedly also held a gun to their head”
Who, Sam and his brother? Maybe Sam and his sister? And how does one point a gun at two heads at the same time?
Good for her to speak out. Her brother is sick and needs help.
Very true.
There should be a browser extension that translates LGBTXYZ psychobabble to English. Trying to keep track of when plural pronouns refer to deranged singular people or actual groups of multiple people is too much of a chore.
What cracks me up is using “they/them” is just a dodge to avoid saying “it,” which would be correct.
Lying Sam could run against George Santos. That would be the most entertaining race of the election cycle.
“My grandpa is a Commie
My grandma pushes tea
My sister has a mostache
My brother wears a dress
Goodness gracious that’s why I’m a mess’’.
I’m fed up with this butchery of the English language.
