Your post would make an excellent letter to Hogan!
Well, that’s disingenuous. (Unless he’s authentically stupid.)
If it’s a government school, it’s going to teach something or nothing, bureaucrats and politicians deciding what.
“Big government” is when public education becomes “free and compulsory” and then you get a Dept. of Education and then increasing illiteracy, with every generation.
If he thinks government should be providing education, he’s a big govt guy in my book.
When cities in your state have zero students testing at grade level, you have no credibility chastising another state’s governor.
I’m sure he is, he wants to run for POTUS, he has no chance, he’s a RINO version of Mike Huckabee.
Hogan will run for POTUS, raise some money, get no votes and drop out after 1 or 2 primaries, then will forever be known as a former Presidental Candidate who goes on to sell cheap merchandise, which is what Huckabee did, now Huckabee is selling sleeping aids and children’s books about Trump.
I have yet to hear any reaction from the liberal side about the poor showing of Baltimore schools.
But in the past, similar news has been greeted with talk of how the schools need more resources.
I remember seeing a report, which showed that many big city school systems are already spending more per capita on education than the national average. Yet they’re getting some of the worst results.
It’s inconceivable to me that there are numerous schools in Baltimore, in which is zero students are achieving at grade level. Zero students are achieving at grade level? What the heck is going on in such schools?
Larry Hogan is no conservative. Remember he got elected as a Republican in a liberal state. So not surprising that he is a more liberal Republican than most of us would like to see.
Among his many failings is the fact that he cannot recognize that the teachers union and associated bureaucracy that are setting the curricula IS big government.
What a maroon.
This clown is a non starter.
Larry-—go crawl back under your rock and rejoin the pale wormy fungus-eating critters that dwell there. They’re your true constituents.
Larry Hogan should have been screaming about how the poor kids in Baltimore are being defrauded of an essential education despite millions of dollars being spent, for what?? Instead, Hogan wants to see the false history of CRT being taught, the sexualization of young kids, and the abandonment of any type of educational standards. The ones who really lose in this and are cheated are the kids who get no education, no training of any value whatsoever. What are the alternatives? Charter schools, trade schools, no nonsense discipline, and aid to private religious academies. But you don’t hear clowns like Larry Hogan speaking up for these remedies nor criticizing his friends in the DC education bureaucracy.
Thank you senor!
