At least back then Liberals cared about the Constitution.
Today your modern liberal just sees the Constitution as a “piece of paper written by a bunch of dead white guys.”

Is still a liberal, very much alive and soon to be 95.
Lehrer put all of his songs in the public domain.

Tom Lehrer, although frequently funny, was very much a leftist. That was back when "funny leftist" and "liberal who appreciates satire" were not oxymorons.

Got up late on the West Coast. Haven’t have breakfast yet, but coffee spewing occurred. OMG, these freaks are far, far worse than the gay guys I know DECADES AGO when I lived In San Francisco.

A survey of local school districts found that 153 of 175 books were removed the the district for including pornographic, violent or age-inappropriate content, according to a document obtained by the DCNF. The removed books included “This Book is Gay,” “Gender Queer,” “Let’s Talk About It” and “It’s Perfectly Normal,” all of which contain sexually explicit depictions according to snippets shared by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration. “This Book Is Gay” is described as an informational book about growing up in the LGBTQ+ community and includes a section about the “ins and outs of gay sex,” according to Sourcebooks. Taryn Feske, DeSantis’ communication director, shared a page from the book that defines sex terminology including “rimming,” “scat,” “scissor sisters” and “strap-on.” Not exposing kids to this kind of stuff was in the words of Larry Hogan "big government authoritarianism" on the part of DeSantis. It was not, apparently, "big government authoritarianism" for the government to be foisting this kind of stuff on kids.

1) I thought scat meant poop, not eating poop. Gross - they have a specific word for that. SICK!
2) “the trauma and fundamental violations of pap smears.” I presume the book fails to mention health problems resulting from refusing to get a pap smear. Another thing: if you told doc you don’t want pap smear, because it is a “fundamental violation,” I’m guessing you simply have to sign release for resultant health problems you as patient will not get diagnosed.
