No, chamber of commerce Republican alert. The chamber of commerce fake conservative Republicans believe in only one thing. If profits may be negatively impacted in any way anywhere by anything then it is bad. Outside of that there is no interest in all that ‘impractical and intellectual stuff’. Ayn Rand found this out to her surprise during the atlas Shrugged period. Pence is a classic Babbitt.
It is conservative to remove special carve outs for big business. That’s what Reedy Creek was. Political favors.

That was my initial feelings as well. I believe what DeSantis did wasn’t ‘retribution’ but regaining state control of something that should have been under state control for a while. It has become obvious that Democrats prosecute political opponents (See Trump and many others) for made up crimes and smallest crimes (See many Jan 6th protesters) to maximum and let blatant violent criminals out of jail and fail to prosecute those who are left leaning. This entire thing has become an issue of Rule of Law, and when a corporation goes left wing it can’t be in charge of any local legal system without accountability to elections.
President Trump has done so many good things; elevating Pence to the national stage is not one of them.
Is it beyond the scope of limited conservative government to stop giving Disney special treatment?
