Have you noticed that all weather now has a direct effect on power outages and all weather is due to climate change and climate change is a threat to our existence, sounds like the Kevin baker game. All roads lead to less for us deliberately and more “control” for them

Conspiracy theory number 347.7

I betcha what we are seeing is mostly customers, especially rural & surburban customers being served via overhead power lines, I betcha.
Winter storms are very hard on overhead power lines, especially high wind and heavy wet snow storms. Sorta kinda like the wind we had here in eastern Arizona yesterday with wind gusts up to 70 mph.

Last April I drove through N. NM on I-40. East bound from Vegas. Pulled in to Gallup for gas and could not open door! 85MPH wind. Trash buggies rolling down the street. Had to hold pump tight as wind blowing everything.

Back on I-40. Several semis/RV's tipped over. Fought wheel all the way.Heavy winds all the way to Santa Rosa. Checked in to Comfort Inn. Walked across street to restaurant dodging flying debris all the way.

NM is a lovely state. But high winds are its down side.

...and those lines loaded with accumulated ice, get to whippin and a touchin things they shouldn’t ought to or snappin those poles right in two and pretty soon the phone calls start telling the tale.

Gotta cut NM some slack because they are a liberal State run by liberals.
