When I was a teenage student in Arizona, I was a member of the Arizona Academy of Science. We all got subtle pamphlets on eugenics from a holdover of that movement from California. California was a hotbed of eugenics.
I reached the age of 20, while I was an MIT undergraduate, before I realized how vile these pamphlets really were!!!! So I understand how even good people in Germany might have been taken in by Hitler and the Nazis!!!!
And Tulsi has the balls to say it on national television. No other politician has that courage.

Then she's pro-abortion. It matters not the circumstance of one's conception, violent or immoral it may be. Abortion is still the barbaric murder of an innocent human being in the one place he or she should be the safest-- in their mother's womb. That is the core reality of it.

The Versailles Treaty, Reparations, frustrated veterans, the Weimar Republic, hyperinflation, open warfare on the streets of Berlin between the Frei Korps and the communists, the post-WW I hedonism, the splintering of the parties, huge social unrest, the abdication of Kaiser Wilhelm, the masterful rise of Hitler and his capitalization on all the foregoing, his focus on the “master race.”
My grandparents left Germany in 1927 with their then-young family and moved to New York. They left their parents and some siblings behind in the Danzig area. My grandfather had served on the Eastern Front in WW I and was a Russian POW, so I have a lot of personal connections to that era. Unfortunately, my grandparents died in 1969 and 1980 and I never had a chance to talk to them about those years when they were alive.
