Anyone still trying to do business in NYC needs to shut down and flee with their lives while they still can. The police will not protect you and if you try to protect yourself or someone else you will be arrested and charged with a crime.

Someone needs to tell the actual victims in this case to keep quiet and let their legal counsel do the talking. The video interview with one of the guys involved makes it clear that the gentleman is most likely a recent arrival to the USA and English is definitely not his native tongue, so he is probably unfamiliar with the legal system here. Speaking to the media is a terrible idea on any day, but especially during a situation like this.

It is obvious Morales and Hernandez aren't well acquainted with DIE (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion). They probably think it means "if you steal from us, you DIE!".
Send them back to Publik Skool and contact Mayor Adams directly. New York has a problem!
