What is the current death count???
I Googled, “Most recent death toll for Turkey and Syria.” The most recent article listed was for Feb. 25, 2023. I searched on 3/19/23. The figure for Turkey was over 44,000 and for Syria almost 6,000. I have no idea why no new figures for almost a month. Perhaps too horrible for countries to allow figures to be known, especially with an election coming up in May. Will probably not help Erdogan’s candidacy.
