On page 85 of the report, the list of Arizona officials who allegedly have falsified deeds in the purported money laundering scheme include 40 names, notably including Gov. Hobbs, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, Sen. Krysten Sinema, Rep. Ruben Gallego, Mesa Mayor John Giles, Arizona Speaker of the House Ben Toma, as well as Maricopa County Supervisors Bill Gates, Thomas Galvin, and Clint Hickman. Surely John "One of the Keating 5" McCain is on that list as well unless this scam is too new for him to have profited from.

They would protect the interests of the cartels and the pols that are being paid by them.
The cartels have been growing for a long time. First they conquered the northern Mexico states. Then they conquered all of Mexico. Now they are working on our border states.
The wizards of smart in DC either can’t see this or they are on the payroll as well. I tend to think that they are paid to look the other way. Paid well.
