Copper thrives are not just limited to this. A Safeway Supermarket in Mesa Arizona had the cooper stolen from its refrigeration system. As a result they had to toss out thousands of dollars of food. The thieves probably only got a few bucks.

Blame the people who buy the scrap. without a high price, theives arent stealing walmart plactic bags...
Its the shady recyclers in the business to blame.
