Documents recently obtained by Human Events show that Alexander Vindman has been pitching the government of Ukraine to obtain lucrative defense contracts. In August 2022, Vindman, operating as CEO of Trident Support, pitched a deck on a Ukraine Weapons Systems Sustainment Center to address problems with Ukraine's weapons management, namely readiness, repair, and maintenance.

Vindman testified before the House in November 2019 as part of the first impeachment inquiry into then-President Donald Trump. Vindman, who was an officer in the US Army, told the House that he listened to a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in which Trump asked for clarification and information about the way the firing of a prosecutor was handled during the Obama administration.

So, the Logan act only applies to Trump? And that cowardly assclown is more free than the president to conduct negotiations with Ukraine? Is that about right?
Maybe take a page out of Merrick Garland’s book and shop for a trial venue that has a judge and jury of Trump supporters.

As far as is known, nothing has happened to move it forward. Reading it shows why.
This pitch is for having some support moved from Poland to inside Ukraine. In March 2022, Russian cruise missiles hit the Yavoriv base, a few miles from the Polish border. This shows Russian cruise weapons can target anywhere in Ukraine. The reason the support for Ukraine is in Poland is because it is a NATO country. Russia is not going to attack Poland and risk invoking NATO Article Five.
Russian cruise missiles and Shaheed drone attacks target the power grid and apartments because they are easy targets. Their targeting shows Russia can not target what the US and NATO would target cruise missiles to any significant degree. Vindman's idea would make a big, important target for Russian missiles. On top of that, the work Vindman wants is already happening without him, without giving Russia easy targets.
Putting state side support facilities in range of Russian missiles is not going to happen. This proposal was likely politely received, then circular filed as soon as the presentation was over. Revealing it now is to make sure it stays dead.
