I’ve been to both of those Walmarts, they’re pretty bad. Many of the aisles have locked cases and you have to get someone to open them to actually shop for anything but food. I thought both of the Walmarts on 82nd Ave. were technically in Portland, as well as the one near Delta Park.
I’d been to both of those as well…years ago. I can only imagine what they’re like this year. Ironically, in my neck of the woods I wandered into Walmart a month ago with a list, and walked out after learning they didn’t have half of what I needed and opted for Winco (which had everything on my list).
The contrast between the stores was stunning; I hadn’t been in WM for a couple years. WM had their socks all locked behind plexiglass.
SOCKS.
Target or Winco is my destination for such local needs from now on.
