Hungary is seriously affected by the war in Ukraine, the Western countries are not seeking peace, and EU leadership is following American interests, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told a Swiss weekly.

“There are some who want to force Hungary into the war, and they are not picky about the means with which to achieve that goal,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told Swiss weekly Weltwoche – according to a summary published on his website –, stressing that “Hungary’s leadership is strong enough to keep the war away from our country.”

“Ukraine is our neighbor where Hungarians live as well. They are being conscripted and are dying by the hundreds on the front,”

Orbán realizes the dangerous position NATO’s unwarranted involvement and continued escalation puts America and NATO in. He is also very concerned about widespread Uke oppression of ethnic Hungarians. Another NON Putin, non NATO stooge longing for the peace non alignment had meant for Central European countries. That peace was destroyed by the arrival of Obama and the corrupt DC hordes in 2014.

"‘No One Can Win this War’"

Nonsense.
Defense contractors win almost every war.

First, that is juvenile.

Second, the corrupt and stupid people you follow made it impossible because they have said as soon as Russia leaves, Ukraine becomes part of NATO.....therefore, Russia is not going to leave.

“In the decisions adopted in Brussels, I recognize American interests more frequently than European ones. In a war that is taking place in Europe the Americans have the final word”

The prime minister noted that two weeks before the outbreak of the war when he met with Vladimir Putin for the last time in Moscow, the Russian President told him that Hungary’s NATO membership was not a problem, only that of Ukraine and Georgia. “Putin has a problem – this is what he told me – with the American missile bases already created in Romania and Poland, and with NATO’s potential expansion towards Ukraine and Georgia in order to station armaments there.

That’s always has been Russia’s beef. Europe turned its nose up at Russia after the fall of the USSR. Instead of working towards inclusion, Europe and particularly NATO turned up the heat. NATO has expanded, leaving fewer buffer nations between Russia and NATO nations. Expanding NATO to include Ukraine puts NATO on Russia’s doorstep. The same is true with Finland. Personally, I see that as a greater threat to Russia. Finland’s border parallels the one road in the wilderness from St. Petersburg to Russia’s fleet at Murmansk.

Tell us, you Serb hating ignoramus, when did Serbia not stay within it’s borders? It had it’s borders changed by Nato’s illegal offensive war, courtesy of another Serb hater,Albright. Go back under your rock where you belong

all Russia has to do is leave Ukraine

All the US had to do is stay out of Ukrainian politics in 2015 (thank you Obama), and not entertain Ukrainian membership in NATO in 2008 (thank you Bush).

But here we are. When a superpower feels threatened, it’s folly to think they will let it pass.
