My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, an ally of former President Trump, accused Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday of being a “Trojan horse,” calling into question the governor’s conservative credentials.
“The media is covering up for Ron DeSantis,” Lindell asserted while speaking on the convention center floor of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in a video shared online. “He is a Trojan Horse; he is the Trojan Horse. Do not believe anything you’re reading by the media about Ron DeSantis.”
Lindell pointed to DeSantis’s battle with Disney, which ignited after the company pushed back on the state’s Parental Rights in Education law. The law, which became known to critics as the “Don’t Say Gay” law, limited instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in elementary schools.
“Now I’ll tell you what: Ron DeSantis — and he’s got money behind him — did he do anything for Disney? Remember that was the big thing, you’re gonna go after Disney,” Lindell said. “He did nothing, they got everything they wanted, everything.”
DeSantis has long battled Disney and on Monday signed a bill ending Walt Disney World’s self-governing status and establishing a new state-controlled district, giving the governor more power over the area. The company has maintained control over the Reedy Creek Improvement District since the late 1960s.
Lindell’s criticisms of DeSantis echo those voiced by Trump, who has previously labeled the Florida governor a “RINO,” or Republican in Name Only. The former president has also attacked DeSantis’s COVID-19 response, taking aim at his decision to institute a lockdown and his support for vaccines.

I don’t have a clue what it is about Lindell that makes him a pundit. Not a candidate, not elected, not a journalist and makes, IMHO, horrible pillows.
Don’t really desire back-to-back octogenarians in the White House.
I have never liked Lindell personally, when I first saw him AGES ago on TV with that cross sticking out of his shirt, he just seemed so fake. I instantly disliked the man.

The absolutely stupid Republican Party will divide and be conquered again. Instead of concentrating on winning elections they name call and always attempt to defeat each other.
DeSantis is not likely to be a RINO.
We don’t even know for sure if he is running for POTUS.
But...he said he intended to serve his full term in office as Governor of Florida. If he doesn’t that’s ammunition to be used against him.
He also needs to lay out a clear economic plan including a plan to help out the middle class whom Democrats have abandoned.
Being anti-woke is not enough.
And whether your support Trump or DeSantis you better vote GOP. Chit, the Democrats will vote for Fetterman and Biden. They vote, or that is their ballots vote to win.
Anything but Biden or Newsom.
Pillows are good. Like the passion. He’s way off base on DeSantis. Stupid politically and professionally. Travel out of Florida all the time and Desantis is extremely popular with conservatives all over the country. This whole thing is just weak sauce attacking him.
I’ll vote for either one of them. Whoever gets the nomination.

Looks like Mike got it 100% wrong. Him and Trump will have to revert back to their phony guilt by extreme long distance association attacks I guess, since that’s all they have so far. That and some elementary schoolyard names.
All this infighting could have been avoided if DeSantis just waited until 2028. He made a poor choice running against Trump. Question is who put him up to it. Probably Deep State.
Lindell is self made multi-millionaire, and richer than you and me and 100 other FR posters, combined. That makes him more qualified to comment than you or me.
Absolutely. It is so obvious! Even my 82 year old eyed can see it clear as bell. But do not worry. If DeSantis wins the nomination (highly unlikely) he will be attacked by the same media who is praising him now.
By that logic, get vaccinated because Bill Gates said so.
Now if only DeSantis can get China to sign a balanced trade pact, or stop rocketman from shooting rockets over Japan & S. Korea, and stop the Ukraine war bleeding of tax payers, then he would rise in my esteem.
