House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there were “serious security concerns” over releasing footage from the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot because former President Donald Trump was fanning “the flames of extremism.”
Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to ask you, switching topics for a second, about Fox host Tucker Carlson because he tweeted yesterday that he’s going to begin airing some of the January 6 footage that he was given exclusive access to, he says, by Speaker McCarthy. Has this, as far as you know, been vetted by the Capitol police? Because Speaker McCarthy vowed he would allow that to happen before it aired.”

Exactly what it is.
They are quick to release video if it’s some peon cop that will get sacrificed in another BS racial ritual, or it makes their opponent look bad, but when it doesn’t fit into their narrative then suddenly it becomes difficult and delayed process to get anything.
“National security” has become the bureaucratic and politicians go-to excuse for anything which is ***Criminal:*** Extra ordinary renditions, i.e. kidnappings; enhanced interrogations, i.e. torture; mass/bulk invasion of privacy and warrantless searches...
There needs to be a wholesome revision of the classification system which today has become the curtain behind which bureaucrats and politicians which have done shameful, illegal, unethical or immoral things hide.
So now support for the Constitution and support for law and order are ‘extremist’....? Sheeesh!
Seems he is saying that once people see for themselves what really happened, they will know that PDJT was right all along.

The same day (J6th) and next few days I saw videos of Antifa types pushing at the barriers and punching through the Capitol doors and windows.
These guys were all in black, combat boots (steel toes?), helmets, masks, goggles, gloves, heavy jackets, full backpacks - all without a hint of red, white and blue.
There was also short footage of a capitol police escort of several vans Jan 5th with Antifa dressed types dumped within blocks of the Capitol.
I should also mention that there’s video of Capitol police opening the barriers and waving the crowd onto Capitol ground and the Capitol itself. Wonder how many of them are still in solitary in WDC?
For those “invited” in by the capitol police a habeus corpus motion should have had them out long ago without charges. I’ve not seen any such activity.
Throw in Epps, FBI foreknowledge of any disruptors with them having infiltrators it almost seems like the plan was to prevent PDJT from presenting any evidence that VP Pence (the Pu$$y) could have considered.
After the “riot” nothing was presented questioning the electoral results as far as I recall.
But don’t let the people view public video evidence. The truth might come out.
Any of the video is going to be of people in public. If you were there in public then the photographer owns the video not you.
I’m encouraged that Jeffries is out attacking the tapes release, but I’d be far happier if Lizzie was, too. Why has she been silent on this?
