A network of bots have been busily singing the praises of former President Donald Trump while targeting his political rivals Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — as well as trolling critics like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, according to a report on Monday.
The fake accounts — estimated to number in the hundreds of thousands — are behind popularizing the suggestion that DeSantis, 44, would be unable to defeat Trump, 76, for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination but would make a good running mate.
They also attacked Haley, the former US ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration and the only other declared 2024 GOP candidate. *** An Israeli tech firm, Cyabra, discovered the network and shared its findings with the Associated Press.
“One account will say, ‘Biden is trying to take our guns; Trump was the best,’ and another will say, ‘Jan. 6 was a lie and Trump was innocent,’” Jules Gross, the Cyabra engineer who first discovered the network, told the AP. “Those voices are not people. For the sake of democracy I want people to know this is happening.”
The identities of those behind the fake accounts are unknown, but Cyabra determined that the network was likely created in the United States.
Whoever created the army of bots is working to tip the scales in next year’s GOP primary by employing cyber techniques perfected in 2016 by Russian hackers while manipulating Twitter’s algorithms to increase circulation in an attempt to sway political discussion.

But, it is clear that the Anti Trump Bots are back on Twitter in Full Force.
I don’t believe Elon Musk is doing this, it must come from one of the linked in alphabet agencies who revived their direct outside control connection.

There is no question that the big name social media outlets along with the main stream media are all so polluted with so propaganda that they are completely worthless as a source of information. It has always been this way to a certain extent, but we reach new levels every day.
I’ll take every complement for Trump and uparrow it. They might think they’re being clever, but Trump is worth every good word spoken, whether in spite or not.

The unfair and unbalanced NY Post teams up with AP and a foreign AI, so-called disinformation platform (Cyabra), to defend DeSantis against supposed Twitter bots.
What is Cyabra's evidence? They say the AI says so.
I guess they think that humans are not supposed to question this.

I would think that tracking where these bots are would be easy from the ip address’s, also when they were created en masse. Then block them.
The influencers will play both sides against the middle trying to stir confusion. Best to just ignore them.
Had not thought about that, but these Twitter accounts make really dumb lies that anyone 1/2 smart can see right through as pure noise and BS.
They use the same earmark as the ComDem Trolls have always used. First open with an attempted insult, try to engage in conversation then turn you into Twitter for some breaking of the rules.
I automatically call out the intended insult and tell them Bye Bye ( ) Troll. And block them. End of story.
Some have 20 or more accounts and they try to pile on and continue to provoke BS. I just block them, no discussion.
It has been this way for years. It will be quiet for a while then when they need noise to cover up for the most recent crime they committed they are back in force.
In the beginning I collected Twitter troll screen names. The list got into the thousands, I gave up they just create more. I doubt that the real accounts are less than 40% of the total accounts. Elon Musk was right, but it was much worse than he thought in the beginning.
It is hard to determine who is actually backing DeSantis. He will never be Trump. But he is certainly not a Gavin Newsom.
Oh, I left out the Fed Gov Agencies impact on this. Some of them operate with military propaganda tactics and access to huge data bases. There are at least 5 agencies who are engaged in this, it is said “in secret”. But it is no secret.
It is 5-G PsyOp War.
I remember seeing stadiums full and overflowing with Trump bots.
Biden couldn’t fill his backyard.
