“Don’t Mess With Texas” was an anti-littering ad campaign, back in the ‘80s, IIRC. It caught on, or maybe it was used because it was already popular. I don’t remember. We can now use it once again to reference taking out the TRASH (liberals).

Those who are not Texan will never get it. Just sayin’.

Understood, and thanks for the reply. Correct me if I'm wrong but the slogan was a bit of a double entendre and Texans were happy to let it serve as an admonition to outsiders. I am not a Texan but did spend some time there working on a project and always enjoyed the culture and being there. FReegards
