China ripped off US military technology to build an advanced high-tech jet fighter, and experts warn that more must be done to protect American weapons information and keep Beijing from making such huge development leaps in the future, according to a report on Thursday.

“What we know is that because of the espionage efforts, [China’s] J-20 is more advanced than it otherwise would be, and that’s the important point here,” former Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy James Anderson told Fox News Digital in an interview.

“They have profited greatly from their thievery over the years,” Anderson said. “They’ve put it to good use, and they’ve come up with an advanced fifth-generation fighter.”

Foreign enemies have no problem getting access to government secrets. But we the people must be shielded from accessing the J6 videos, according to the Left.

I thought Slick Willie sold it to them for campaign donations? Or was that something else?

If Asians are so much smarter, then how come a country with literally 5 times as many brains as our country has to steal so much of our intellectual property?

The Clinton’s gave the ChiComs missile tech. With what Clinton’s gave them they were able to advance their missile program years in a matter of months.

People, in a world where we should believe nothing, why does everyone have the default presumption of US technological superiority?

China has a lunar rover on the far side of the moon right now, something we have never done.

They have their own space station in orbit, and didn’t require multi national participation to make it happen.

It is very dangerous to cruise along thinking you’re ahead when the only evidence of that is propaganda.

Yes but that was ancient technology and a long time ago. Today they can simply hack in and change vote tallies, steal military secrets..etc

What a load of B.S.Why don’t we just admit it that the Chinese were Gifted that technology through the negligence of the military contractors.

The problem here is that the contractor isn’t held accountable for not securing there information but they are still a a contractor for the U.S. government.

The Taxpayers continue getting screwed all the way.

In the first place, they are not so much smarter. In my experience of dealing with high-end video and computer technology, Asian companies are really good at making the innards of ONE MACHINE. They are less good, even remarkably less good at making wide-area macro systems work.

IP theft is a calculated risk, with minor chances of getting caught, even less chance of any meaningful consequence, but primarily it is astronomically cheaper than developing the IP behind a project into a functional reality “in house”. It is a 100:1 bet, sometimes a 500:1 or 1000:1 bet. I have zero idea what it costs to develop a new fighter plane, but you and I both know it’s in the billions and it takes years. For a clue, our main fighters, the F-14, F-15, the F-18 and the F-16 all date from the 70’s. For $10 million, the CCP can pay off 3-5 guys and obtain literally billions of R&D work. The history of these cases, when and where the Chinese get caught, is that the perp is either ejected from the US, the fines levied take years to get through the system, and generally get argued down by 10-80%. The most recent case of IP theft by the CCP is a case where the CCP purloined the methodology behind some sort of internal coating for soft-drink cans. What’s the deal? Internal to the US, three soft drink companies complain and get some sort of relief 3 years after discovery of the effort. For the Chinese, one guy gets deported, 2 years later a $350 million IP theft gets argued down to $125 million which possibly never gets paid, and the CCP makes billions on the improvement to soft drink cans over those 5 years of farting around. (I am completely making up those numbers) Even IF they have to pay the fine, it’s still a fantastic deal for them.

Yeah. “Stole” can only mean that the Clintons or Bidens didn’t get a cut.

Well...I think we could do those things. The CCP doesn’t have to convince Congress to fund them.
