Mexico’s President Threatens To Meddle In U.S. Elections To Beat Republicans: ‘Corrupt’ To Stop Cartels
The Daily Wire ^ | March 9, 2023 | Ryan Saavedra

Leftist Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, also known as AMLO, threatened the Republican Party during a press conference on Thursday for wanting to use the U.S. military to destroy the nation’s powerful multi-billion dollar drug cartels.

Obrador’s remarks come as Republican lawmakers and top former officials, like former Attorney General William Barr, have called for using the U.S. military in recent weeks to put an end to the billions of dollars worth of drugs pouring into the U.S., which are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths per year. The cartels made $13 billion last year from human smuggling alone.

The remarks from lawmakers come after four Americans were kidnapped in Mexico this week and two of them ended up being murdered.

“We establish our position at once: we are not going to allow any foreign government to intervene, much less the armed forces of a foreign government, to intervene in our territory,” he declared at a press conference. “And starting today, we are going to initiate an information campaign (aimed at) Mexicans who live and work in the United States, and all Hispanics, to inform them about what we are doing in Mexico and how this initiative from the Republicans, besides being irresponsible, is an offense against the people on Mexico.”

Mexico is a third-world toilet of a country.

“Mexico is a third-world toilet of a country.”

And it could be great.

Wow. AMLO has jumped the shark. How in the world would he believe this would somehow help him?

Once again we can thank Lindsay Graham. It was his big mouth that started this. He knows very well that we would not send troops there. POS never shuts up.

Looks like President Sparky there thinks he’s invincible!

Well, I guess if Brandon can’t gain any traction with his Proxy War with Russia, he may as well meddle in Sunny Meh-He-Co!

We’re so screwed. :(

I’m beginning to agree with others who have said it’s time to send in our military to Mexico, wipe out the cartels once and for all, and replace the government.

Could be. Now American politicians are going to have to choose a side: America or Mexican Cartels who control most of the Mexican government and who are killing thousands of Americans a month.

AMLO is between a rock and a hard place. The cartels control much of Mexico and much of the Mexican government. He’s afraid for his life.

We could secure the border and maybe they might stop some of the drugs. Would be better than invading a sovereign country right on our border. Maybe if the Mexicans asked for help I could support some military action but otherwise it seems like a bad idea.
I wonder if politicians would have cared if the drug cartels killed 4 white people. They killed 4 blacks and they are ready for WW3.

Graham brought it out in the open with his statement and that’s a good thing.

I get it that his position is precarious, but he gains nothing from publicly threatening our nation. This is better suited for a backchannel message and even then why make threats that will only embolden your “enemies”?

Mexico would make a great bombing range for our zoomies. Artillery would be a great cleanup. Mexico has needed another good kick in the ass for a long time. The time is now.
