Something our store does is crank up the price, then offer a BOGO “discount”. For instance, a 12 pack of soda runs around $10 or so now, if you buy it “on sale” - but with the BOGO the price doubles almost, as they sell the 12 pack for the “regular price” of $18 or thereabouts.
I don’t understand why your prices are so high. Here, at Fred Meyer (Kroger subsidiary) 12 packs of major brands usually are $5.99 each if you buy three. $7.99 singly. So, buying three cartons, my Diet Coke Caffeine Free is about 50¢ a can.
