*No, that’s not what got us in those wars, it was in some cases, corrupt politicians and idiots.*

Nixon went to China. Good move on the anti-communist chessboard. Problem was the Communist lovers that succeeded him. Think Loral, Bush, BJ, Kenyan. You gotta starve the beast and the pledge feeds it. It becomes my country right or wrong. Idiots-they’ll always be around and the GOP won’t stand in their way.

I guess we will just have to disagree. I don’t believe “the beast” needs to be starved nor that “my country right or wrong” is in play anymore. With all the indoctrination in our public schools from pre-school through college, the media and the democrat propaganda machine the prevailing thinking is that our country is the root of all evil in the world. Saying the Pledge iw just a small counterbalance to that thinking. And it must be over the target as much as the Left hates it. It is the same with getting rid or “remaking” our history. To destroy a country, begin by destroying its history, both good and bad.

They’ve kind of made a mockery of that whole “With Liberty and Justice For All” thing, haven’t they?

sounds like she is respecting liberty for all which is what the pledge calls for. Isn’t it exercising liberty to not force someone to take the pledge? Is the punishment that teacher ridicule and push you?

freedom has boundries, And one of them is you respect the flag of the country you live in. She should have stopped walking and stood there. Instead she disrespected the flag, ya, the flag that gives her the freedom to disrespect it. but it also gives someone the freedom to correct your disrespectful behavior. Libertains don’t understand, anarchy doesnt bring peace, it divides.

WHEN SHKEDOWN SCAMS GO BAD

Video shows the teacher touching Barnwell’s shoulder, but not pushing her.

Falcon I would agree. One problem:

The NFL is woke. How does it explain the military flyovers during the national anthem?
I don’t think they happened when there were players kneeling. We’re all being played. For a one minute pledge the kids who object can stand in the hallway outside the room. Adults allow free thinking. If the kids who object are following their parents wishes we should respect that. If the kids refuse to leave the room on their parents orders you move the pledge and the flag to the hallway.

you mistake anarchy for freedom. freedom is only for moral men, To cant allow total freedom to do whatever the hell you want, u less you let people beat the bell out of anyone who disrespects your country.

You mistake someone refusing to say the pledge with anarchy I never said anything about TOTAL freedom I said you shouldn’t force a pledge that people should have the freedom to pledge or not. You exaggerated that to be TOTAL freedom to try to set up a straw man argument. Last word to you but be careful to not exercise TOTAL freedom.

nobody was forcing her to say the pledge. she was being a self indulgent ass by not stopping what she eas doing while others say the pledge of allegiance. Anti social behavior is our of control in yhis country and needs yo be corrected instead of tolerated in fear of offending someone.

exercising freedom is not self-indulgent. Forcing people to show respect or say the pledge is fascist
