Human activities have transformed the planet at a pace and scale unmatched in recorded history, causing irreversible damage to communities and ecosystems, according to one of the most definitive reports ever published about climate change. Leading scientists warned that the world’s plans to combat these changes are inadequate and that more aggressive actions must be taken to avert catastrophic warming.
The report released Monday from the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found the world is likely to miss its most ambitious climate target.
With few nations on track to fulfill their climate commitments and with the developing world already suffering disproportionately from climate disasters, he said, rich countries have a responsibility to act faster than their low-income counterparts.
The world already has all the knowledge, tools and financial resources needed to achieve its climate goals, according to the IPCC. But after decades of disregarding scientific warnings and delaying climate efforts, it adds, humanity’s window for action is rapidly closing.
“Climate change is a threat to human wellbeing and planetary health,” the report says. “The choices and actions implemented in this decade will have impacts now and for thousands of years.”
Calling the report a “how-to guide to defuse the climate time-bomb,” Guterres announced on Monday an “acceleration agenda” that would speed up global actions on climate.

Bullshit.
“World is on brink of climate calamity, definitive U.N. climate report warns”
World is on brink of climate insanity, definitive U.N. climate report warns
There, fixed it
“It is absolutely crucial that we attempt to distract you RIGHT NOW with these irrelevant things, because other deep state machinations are afoot, and it is imperative you don’t pay any attention to them right now,” said the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, The Atlantic, The Hill, Reuters, and a dozen other gaslight media government mouthpieces.
Just like in 1975?
Al Gore was saying the same thing back in the 1980’s and none of his predictions came to pass.
“...the developing world already suffering disproportionately from climate disasters...”
India and China are the worlds biggest, filthiest polluters, yet they are exempt from ANY climate reparations. The West, (specifically the USA) have the least pollution. Talk to me when India and China start paying climate reparations to the Africans. not a moment sooner. /spit
Until the early 1980’s the pollution from our vehicles was plunging the earth into a cataclysmic ICE AGE, then Catalytic Converters came out, cleaned up the air and made the Planet turn into an inferno and heading for spontaneous combustion on a planetary scale.
Maybe we should BAN catalytic converters since they caused this dire predicament they claim we are in??
“C’mon, guys! We REALLY mean it this time!”
Just wish their pronouncements made sense.
Just give us even MORE of your money, that’ll fix it.
Here's the author of the article.
And here are her credentials:
Education: Georgetown University, B.S. in International Culture and Politics
A B.S. in “BS”.
When the UN and Climate Changers learn to control volcanoes they might be able to stop the ash and vapors that are pumped into the upper atmosphere and have some control of our climate, until then, its all wishful thinking. The Huonga Tonga Volcano erupted on 15 Jan. 2022 and pumped 58 billion tons of ash and gases into the upper atmosphere and is effecting our current weather. This volcano shook the entire world and setoff seismometers around the World.
huh? already thought it was supposed to be over?
Why don't they take that message to two of the world's biggest polluters:
China:
They won't be touched or mandated to stop their massive air and water pollution but we Americans are asked to cough up billions upon billions to "stop climate change."
OK so she has no scientific credentials. But hey, she “really likes the environment and stuff.”
