I had rather shovel hog manure for a living than to submit to coercion that is on the face a lie. How can they portray themselves to be supporters of DEI when it is crystal clear they are angling to discriminate against white applicants.
That is the case at Gonzaga as well. That includes staff positions like administrative assistant.

Who are the “overrepresented groups”? Asians?
So called ‘engineers’ that agree to such a stupid-*ssed statement will also agree that 2 + 2 = 6 (for large values of 2, as 2 approaches 3). They’ll also agree that perpetual motion is possible, and that solar and wind power can provide all the electricity that we need through our totally modern and capable grid.
Those of us in STEM call these types the students that wanted engineering degrees, but graduated with poly-sci and underwater lesbian dance degrees.
Sadly, a lot of the wokenistas will comply gladly.
No different than the annual sexual harassment training most of us corporate types must endure.
The “training” comes with a quiz that you must pass, by selecting all the woke BS answers.
Now we know what happens to a country when the young people decide to leave for greener pastures.
My statement would be short and simple, “I subscribe to IDC. I Don’t Care.”
Another college I will not hire from.
Full disclosure. I have an aerospace manufacturing design and mfg shop. i will hire NO ONE from a woke university,
(I make certified aircraft parts despite the state gov shuttering my business costing me fortunes.)

That's part of the skill set you learn in college. Feed back the expected answers, but don't buy into the BS. I learned to do that with my communist humanities TA as an undergrad. It still applies with "DIE" "training". The most obtuse answer is the one desired. Think like gruesome Newsom for a few minutes to pass the "test".
As for "signing a pledge" to support that nonsense as a condition of employment...nope. Go find a rainbow haired misfit to get your work done.

It is THE Ohio State University. The vast majority of engineering students at The Ohio State University are Asian. Some Departments are 90% Chinese.
In the Masters of Logistics Engineering Program there is only One [1] American student - the rest are Chinese or Indian.
We employers should thank them - for publicly declaring that degrees from the Ohio State University College of Engineering are worthless. Saves us a lot of time. :)
