For the first time, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has criticized former President Donald Trump for refusing to concede power following the 2020 election – in a generalized comment referencing events more than 200 years ago.
DeSantis, who condemned rioters inside the Capitol where he once served, but has said little about Trump's push to have courts and allies toss out the results, made remarks during an interview with Piers Morgan, where he also blasted Trump administration chaos.

Its a shame to see DeSantis wreck his political future like this, but he’s done it. He fell for the Bushites ploy.

I think it is lawyering 101. I am still cautious about articles aimed at stirring up division among Conservative voters.
Trump had resistance from all corners. From enemies and so called allies. It is not surprising he lost focus. The problem I have with him now is that he is still running for the 2020 election. Yes there was fraud. Enough to change the outcome? I don’t know. I do know there was enough caused by policies and legal strategies it deserves a closer look by the courts. Will he ever get that? No. And that stinks. Time to look to 2024 and on convincing voters he will do a better job picking friends and keeping promises.
DeSantis should stick with being governor of FL. The last thing this country needs is another rino.
Stolen elections cannot be left to stand without a fight. If DeSantis doesn’t get that then he doesn’t get anything.

All of the warning signs were/are there and I’m sure there is more to come that will lock Ron in as your typical republican. Ron, never whip it out, throw it on the table and slap it with a hammer. It’s only you that gets hurt.
And not just those two losers, other Ron fluffers are conspicuously absent..
It might occur to some that Ron isn't who he portrayed himself to be since day one. His paymasters have made demands and Ron is fulfilling those demands. After he is scorched from this misguided adventure he may well turn his eGOP guns on Floridians. He is who he is and has never been who he pretended to be. Y'all were warned.

I wondered if Trump knew something at the time. I’m sure many did.
I thought we had a backup in DeSantis. Seems not.
I have said previously that if DeSantis is the nominee, I would vote for him.
I now have to reconsider that position.
