Ailing Mitch McConnell is facing a devastating brain damage nightmare as a severe concussion may end the Senate minority leader’s political career after an astounding 38 years in Congress, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Republican bigshot, 81, banged his brain in a terrible March 9 tumble at Washington D.C.’s Waldorf Astoria hotel — nearly four years after another serious fall forced him to have shoulder surgery!

I hope this is true. McConnell is an insidious and vile oligarch. He preferred Gerald Ford over Ronald Reagan in '76, has NEVER been a conservative. He has willfully and intentionally thwarted the conservative cause for decades. He has hand-picked his own Senate yes-men and sandbagged anybody that could possibly go against him.

Kentucky changed it's appointment law in 2021. The governor would be required to appoint from the same political party as the resignee, and from among names provided by the Executive Committee.

From the below article:

"SB 228 changes that appointment process in key ways. Most notably, it requires the governor to pick a temporary successor who shares the same political party as the departing senator.

It also makes them select that person from a list of three names provided by the executive committee of the departing senator's state party."

This is the first I’ve heard he banged his head. It was reported earlier that he just fell.

That law is unconstitutional, or it should be.

No laws establishing one (or two) political parties have any place in a representative republic (but they are a perfect fit for "our democracy").

How will we be able to tell if McConnell is seriously brain-damaged compared to the way he’s acted in the past?!?

Let him resign, ask him to resign. We don’t have a majority so who cares if the governor picks a Democrat replacement. Getting rid of McConnell has more immediate importance. I say replace him with Rand Paul or someone that has some backbone.

“Kentucky has a Dhimmicrap governor.”

But the governor would need to choose a successor of the resignee’s party (in keeping with the people’s choice in the prior election).
