Hillary Clinton has released a promo video on Twitter to advertise the course on foreign policy she is co-teaching at Columbia University next fall. One person is going to teach the actual coursework and Hillary is going to spin yarns about her time in the Obama administration. At least that is what the takeaway from the promo. The promo is in skit form and it begins with “Hillary’s running.” Then the viewer sees a pair of legs running into a room. You know, like Hillary’s running to class. I feel pretty confident in saying that those aren’t HIllary’s legs.

Hillary’s co-teacher is Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo. She and some students are very excited to hear that Hillary is running again, even if that isn’t really what she means here. Hillary plays along. Just so the check clears, she doesn’t mind going along with the gag.
“Well, I sure am, Keren, I just got here early for the new class we’re teaching together on foreign policy decision-making,” she says in the skit.
“Classes don’t start until September,” Yarhi-Milo responds — to which Clinton counters she just wants to be prepared.
“Prepared? I think you’re more prepared than anyone to teach this course,” Yarhi-Milo adds.
The course’s name is “Inside the Situation Room.” Are you kidding me? The first thing that comes to mind is that staged photo taken in the Situation Room during the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound. Hillary was sitting at the conference table with other members of the Obama administration and she had her hand over her mouth for dramatic effect. Her intention is to inflate her importance in the Obama administration as secretary of state. Hillary is a legend in her own mind.
She notes being prepared for foreign policy decision-making. Hillary says she will cover what it was “actually like in the Situation Room during the bin Laden raid, the Iran sanctions, the Gaza ceasefire, you name it.” You’ll notice a glaring omission from that little laundry list of foreign policy decisions during the Obama administration – Benghazi. That sure didn’t come up in the promo. There also wasn’t any mention of how the Obama administration ignored the Orange Revolution of 2014 or Iran’s Green Revolution. Obama wasn’t too interested in supporting democracy abroad. In Iran’s case, he just wanted a feckless nuclear deal.
What was Hillary’s signature success in foreign policy? As far as I know, she had none. She began her time as secretary of state by embarrassing herself and the United States by presenting a large red plastic button to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. It was meant to be a reset button. The word “reset” was mistranslated into Russian for “overcharge”. Ugh. Besides allowing the Benghazi disaster to go on for thirteen hours while Barack Obama flew to Nevada for a fundraiser, all I really remember of Hillary’s time at the State Department was her record-breaking time spent traveling around the world. She constantly traveled on the taxpayers’ dime for no apparent reason.

Gaddafi’s death was a stain on Obama and his State Department. Gaddafi did as the United States demanded and disarmed from his nuclear weaponry. Gaddafi was a bad man but when a brutal dictator turns a page and disarms, he shouldn’t end up dead due to neglect by the United States. And Greenwald is right – it ushered in ISIS and anarchy in Libya.

Now Hillary can carry this on with socialist/feminist indoctrination and self-serving coverup of her failures.

Pretty sad that Team Hillary feels a need to advertise it to get a full class.

My favorite part was where the body-double they used to show Hillary “running”, didn’t have cankles.
