If a prosecutor wants to protect the identity of a witness, they can, but they must abandon the prosecution of the case the witness is involved in. You can’t use a witness anonymously. The right to confront witnesses is guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment and the right to present relevant, exculpatory evidence is part of the due process clause in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment. These doctrines, along the right against self incrimination and to remain silent, are the strongest and most honored rights Americans have through the constitution. If they’re gone, we are done for.

It is way past time for the Freedom Caucus to do whatever it takes to force FBI Director, Chris Wray, to answer Rep. Clay Higgins question: “Did the FBI have agents dressed as Trump supporters located in the Capitol prior to the doors being unlocked when the protestors approached the building?” The only legitimate answer available to Wray is NO, but he refused to say so.
I have always thought the unusually high number of police officer suicides resulted from immoral pressures put on them to concoct lies about the protesters. This sort of police behavior would cause even more anxiety among officers.
I wonder if all the officers in this video are even still alive?
That’s classic entrapment. Its one thing for undercover cops to be witnesses to a crime. Its another thing to encourage and facilitate a crime then charge those who were encouraged to participate.
Of course these 3 were not doing anything different than Ray Epps in the Jan 6 Fedsurrection.
