Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie famously endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency after dropping out of the 2016 Republican primary. But this time? Not a chance, he says.
“I can’t help him. No way,” Mr. Christie told Axios. “Look, I just can’t. When you have the Jan. 6 choir at a rally and you show video of it — I just don’t think that person is appropriate for the presidency.”
Mr. Christie was referring to Mr. Trump’s decision to start a weekend rally in Waco, Texas, with a song recorded by jailed persons accused of assaulting the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
His opposition is notable because top Republicans are reluctant to criticize Mr. Trump directly, fearing the influence of the ex-president’s base within the party.
Mr. Christie, a high-profile prosecutor-turned-governor, is mulling his own 2024 bid and is signaling he will serve as the top attack dog against Mr. Trump. He told an audience at St. Anselm College this week that someone in the GOP race needs to take down Mr. Trump on the debate stage the way he attacked Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida in 2016.
“I’m going to go out there and tell the truth. Like the truth matters. The truth is not negotiable,” Mr. Christie said.

He's a fat phony who's bitter he didn't get a job in Trump's administration, but he made sure he recommended a bunch of underminers.

Helped re-elect Barak Hussein Obama by fawning over him after a storm hit Jersey shore.
Christie has picked up far toomuch excess bagae for anyone who has a modicum of sanity to even think of attempting to support him.
HHowever, if his goal is to seek attention by serving as a punch line, he’s crushing it. I’d love to seem him run. I’m not terribly interested in seeing him waddle, but better to watch him waddle than Canckles, Michelle, or Barry.
What makes him extra sickening is that many of those people in the January 6th choir are actually people who have served their country in the military.

I think we are looking for solutions in the wrong place anymore. We keep looking to elections that we know are totally corrupt to hire one person who is supposed to fix it all.
There isn’t any one person who can possibly fix the disaster that we either willingly or unwillingly have allowed in this country.
This horrible transformation of the US into a world monster has been taking place for a long time. Trump got in their way for a few years and they made that 4 years sheer hell. During that time they steadily worked behind his back for this globalist takeover until they could get rid of him.
I can’t see that this would ever be reversed without major battles of the kind people do not want and are now too soft to participate in.
We are going to sit around and fight over these guys because it is habit. Probably a waste of time too. Maybe some of these potential candidates mean well, but I doubt any of them really want what Trump got, so they will kind of stealthily join the other team in a less radical way.
The Democrats have done us a favor by becoming rather blatant in their behavior, and it will be even more so as Biden's illegitimate term destroys more & more of the middle class & the working poor.
Just keep hammering your liberals acquaintances with the economy, and how terrible it is, coupled with, it was so much better under Trump. 🙂
